Challenge a friend: pick the fighter they'll have to guess — they get a link, with the answer kept hidden.

Daily FNC fighter guessing game — Wordle-style

FNC Classic is a free daily FNC fighter guessing game, played in the spirit of Wordle. A new FNC fighter is chosen every day, and every guess returns a row of clues — division, nationality, height, reach, record and rank — colour-coded so you can narrow the answer down.

Each guess reveals how close you are: green cells mean a match, red cells mean a miss, and arrows tell you whether the hidden fighter's value is higher or lower than what you guessed — the same green/red logic Wordle players already know. Most players land the answer in four to eight guesses once they've read the clue grid a couple of times.

The answer pool is drawn from active FNC (Fight Nation Championship) fighters across all seven divisions. You'll see familiar names most days with an occasional deeper cut, so fans who follow the FNC closely will have an edge over casual viewers — but the clue structure means anyone can work it out with patience.

When you solve today's FNC Classic puzzle you keep your Sportdle daily streak alive. You can also play unlimited random rounds from the same page to practise before the next daily FNC Wordle resets.

Frequently asked questions

How do I play FNC Classic?
Type the name of any FNC fighter into the search box. Each guess returns a row of clues compared with the hidden answer. Green = correct, red = wrong, arrows = higher or lower. Use those hints to guess the next fighter and keep going until you solve it.
When does the daily FNC puzzle reset?
The FNC Classic answer changes every day at midnight in the league's home timezone. Your result and streak are saved locally in your browser, so come back tomorrow for the next puzzle.
Which fighters can be the answer?
The answer is drawn from active FNC (Fight Nation Championship) fighters across all seven divisions. Retired fighters from the last couple of seasons can still appear occasionally, but the pool skews toward fighters most fans will recognise.
Is this FNC guessing game free?
Yes — Sportdle is free to play, with no login required. Your streaks and daily progress are stored only in your own browser.
Is FNC Classic like Wordle?
It uses the same idea as Wordle — a once-a-day puzzle with green/red feedback on each guess — but instead of guessing a word you guess a FNC fighter from clues. Sportdle is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with Wordle or The New York Times. FNC Classic is one of several daily Sportdle modes.
